Match Report - 11 May 2009, Wrexham Lawn Tennis Club Ladies Cheshire 1st Team drew with Cheshire Oaks
A team of Hai Ying, Alice Scott, Judy Griffiths and Pat Evans came out with a creditable draw against a Cheshire Oaks team , with a very strong agresive competitive No 1 pair. The crucuial win was gained by Judy and Pat against the no 2 pair and they ground out a 7-6 7-5 win with some flowing tennis , puntctuated by some varied stroke play using the lob and lack of pace as a devastating weapon. Well done girls !
