Team consisting of Mark Benton, Sam Hayes. Kathryn Hughes and Alice Scott visited Mold and came a way with a hard earned win.Making his debut for the mixed A Team, Sam a Classy Cricketer home from University, also showed his court skills by driving the team to a well deserved win. Alice Scott carrying a major foot injury , with a splinter in her foot, soldiered on to help the cause.
Kathryn who have been on court for 5 hours before playing showed her strength and stamina throuout the match. The girls turned a 6-2 first set around to win against against a strong Mold pair which included Steph Bell, home from University.Kathryn and Mark then did the same winning in a 3 rd set tie break.
Well done to the team maintaining 100% record.
